11 Jun.2008 Within the framework of IGLO, TURBO hosted a meeting with 15 Hungarian R&D proposal writers from universities, foundations and public bodies. The visit was part of the 3 day study tour that the Hungarian experts did in Brussels. After having visited DG Research, DG Regio, DG Enterprise, the House of the Hungarian Regions and the European Parliament, they visited TURBO for a meeting with IGLO representatives.

5-6 Jun.2008 TURBO participated in the annual European Regional Economic Forum 2008 which took place in Nova Gorica, Slovenia on the 5-6 of June 2008. The event aimed at presenting the results of the set of recommendations drafted during the 5 thematic workshops that anticipated the forum. TURBO has presented the set of recommendations drafted during the thematic workshop on “Business and Academia Partnership” organized in Istanbul on April 30^th.

30 Apr.2008 Within the framework of the European Regional Economic Forum, TURBO organized in cooperation with the Slovenian Business and Research Administration, a workshop on “Business Academia Partnership”. The workshop was the second of a series of 5 thematic seminars in the preparation of the EREF 2008 conference. A set of recommendations was drafted addressed to all the stakeholders concerned, namely, university and industry, regional and national bodies as well as the European Commission.
